Trangie Local Aboriginal Land Council

Trangie LALC membership roll confirms there are 327 members on Trangie LALC register of which 96 are voting members.  Of the 327 members, 221 or 68% do not reside in Trangie.  The remaining 106 members or 37.12% reside in Trangie.

 

Trangie LALC are aware of the requirements of Section 110 of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (1983) which states that NSWALC must use its best endeavours to increase the total number of voting members of LALC’s in the State by not less than 3% per annum. Trangie LALC will endeavour to ensure Trangie LALC membership base in increased in line with the NSWALC requirement.
